My First Day Hike of 2021

My wife and I love to hike on the weekend.  We have our favorite trails to hike as well as a fairly short list of new places we would like to visit and because we live in Kentucky, we have a wide variety of terrain to choose from. Kentucky has dozens, if not hundreds, of named waterfalls which make for a great experience throughout the season. New socks made from 85% recycled materials

We are very excited to launch a new line of socks that are made from 35% upcycled wool, 50% recycled PET plastic, and 15% nylon.  The upcycled wool is made from scraps at manufacturing facilities that would normally just get thrown in a landfill.  Because the material is 85% recycled materials, it saves a lot of water, energy and land usage to make these socks.  These socks have a great, smooth feel and are super comfortable.

Merino Wool: GREAT for outdoor socks

Merino Wool is a great natural fiber.  Originally bred in Spain, Merino Sheep have the finest and softest wool of any sheep. Because of it's extremely fine fiber, Merino wool has several great characteristics. Merino wool is excellent at regulating body temperature, especially when worn against the skin.  It keeps you warm when it’s cold and cool when it’s hot.  It is a GREAT all-year choice. It is naturally wicking so it has great moisture control characteristics.  Also, it is very breathable.  Merino wool can absorb up to 30% of its own weight in moisture and still feel dry to the touch. Because of it’s exceptional wicking characteristic, Merino wool is anti-bacterial because it keeps moisture away from your skin so bacteria can’t...

Why Made in USA?

We are located in the US and at least initially, we will only be able to ship to US customers.  By manufacturing in the US, we accomplish several things: Local Sourcing minimizes waste and transportation and ensures a more environmentally friendly product. We are helping to provide jobs locally. We have more control over every thing that our products are made from to ensure the highest degree of SAFETY and QUALITY. Also, by using local materials and labor, we can have smaller...
